Cardenas's work is defined by
a singular idea expressed through a body of work that constitutes
an aesthetic trajectory.
A romantic relationship between
nature and architecture gives way to a stylized vision of intimate
landscapes… a symbolic representation of the intersection
between that which is natural and the power of human intelligence
to fabricate, to create.
Taken as a whole, his work reflects
a consistency of language and an authentic expression of a vision,
a vision at once curious and mischievous, that at times can
even transform into a bucolic experience.
