Like worlds in collision, my work consist of scenarios with images from indeterminate styles fighting for prominence and together vulnerable to numerous interpretations where the Viewer gets implicated by making a story of what they see and adding to it. The essence of the piece lies between the images, the use of color/texture and the imaginary bridges the Viewer use to make them whole, complete, finished.
I am not inspired by elegance, equilibrium or beauty in works of art but by the ordinarily sublime operas where (in a naïve way) cheap drama, wicked humor and intolerable myths makes me concoct and perpetrate my own altered realms of tales. Gilberto Ruiz
